What the arrangement needs next
Three different questions
Eligible person does not mean eligible arrangement.
May this person supervise?
License category and status, two-of-five history, psychotherapy practice, training, relationships, competence, and discipline.
May they supervise here?
The work setting and the supervisor’s relationship to the employer decide whether the structure supports the hours.
Did this week count?
Contact must occur in the same week, in each setting, with a second hour triggered above 10 direct-clinical hours.
Record lifecycle
Prepare for the ending while the relationship is beginning.
Before or near the start
Verify the license. If the supervisor is contracted or volunteers, confirm the employer’s written oversight agreement before supervision. Sign the Supervision Agreement within 60 days.
Every claimed week
Receive the required direct contact in each setting and obtain a signed weekly log. Do not plan to reconstruct category totals later.
At separation
Obtain the signed Experience Verification immediately and retain the agreement and logs. A good relationship today is not a records system.

Controlling material
Verify the person and preserve the Board forms.
The Board does not license or preapprove “supervisors” as a separate category. A directory label, association certificate, paid profile, or employer assurance cannot replace the statutory qualifications, current license status, setting rules, and signed record.
