Privacy Policy

In short

Does this site keep what I type in?

What stays in the page, what Your Path stores on-device, and what analytics sees

Planning inputs stay in the page, URL or this browser's storage. There is no account or cross-device profile. Downloads and scenario links are copies you control. Analytics are disabled on pages that carry private planning or search inputs in the URL.

Effective 8 September 2026

What stays on your device

The planning tools have no account or cross-device profile database. Some calculators keep figures in the page or address bar. Your Path, the school planners, renewal planners, Panel Kit and selected saved-resource features use this browser's storage when you choose their save or keep controls. Browser storage can be cleared by you or the browser; a download is a separate copy, not automatic cloud backup.

Selected calculators can read a saved Your Path profile to prefill matching assumptions. Changing a calculator does not silently change that profile. Current entries and saved copies may differ; use each tool's save, download and clear controls to manage them.

Your Path supports profile backup and import. Other tools offer the downloads described on their own pages; a downloaded record is not automatically importable or evidence of licensing compliance. Do not enter client information or protected health information in these planning tools.

A scenario link can contain entered figures or search text in its address. Anyone who receives that link can read it. Treat a share link or exported file as private. Values before the # in a link may be included in hosting logs. New office-cost links place their figures after #; opening an older link converts it, but cannot undo its initial page request. Pages that read or write private scenario inputs, school search text, referral preferences or a Path profile in the URL do not load Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics or Microsoft Clarity, including when first opened without a scenario. Other pages may use the services described below.

What third parties do collect

The Site uses a small number of third-party services. Each collects data under its own privacy policy, not this one.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-XJCWHH9SFG) runs on public pages except the private scenario/search pages described above and the private Office Exchange decision page. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referring site. It is used to understand which tools are actually useful. It sets cookies.

Ahrefs Web Analytics runs on those public pages alongside Google Analytics, and carries the search-side figures Google Analytics does not — which pages arrive from search and what links to them. Ahrefs states that it sets no cookies and collects no personal data; it records pages viewed, referring site, device and language, and location no finer than the continent. It is disabled on the private scenario/search pages described above.

Microsoft Clarity measures interactions and page layout on pages where analytics are enabled. The entire page body is masked in the page markup; input boxes and drop-downs are also masked by Clarity. Clarity is disabled on the private scenario/search pages above and the private Office Exchange decision page. See Microsoft’s masking documentation.

Cloudflare hosts the Site and handles its forms. If you send a question or contact message, the content and any email address you choose to supply are stored in the Site’s private Cloudflare database and sent to the Site owner through Cloudflare Email Service. Newsletter signups are stored in that database so consent and subscription status can be maintained. Contact and question records are kept until they have been handled or you ask for deletion; newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. A short-lived, one-way abuse-control token is kept separately to limit repeated automated submissions; the form database does not store your IP address.

Google Fonts serves the typefaces on public content and tool pages, which involves a request to Google carrying your IP address. The private Office Exchange decision page uses device fonts and makes no Google Fonts request.

Cloudflare Pages serves the Site and, like any web host, processes request logs.

unpkg serves a JavaScript library on the full simulator page.

What you give voluntarily

If you subscribe to updates, the email address you supply is used to send those updates and nothing else. It is not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else’s marketing.

Marketing consent is a separate, unticked box — subscribing to the update email does not opt you into anything further, and either can be stopped at any time.

If you use a contact or feedback form, whatever you put in it is stored in the private form database and sent to the Site owner by email. Please do not include client information, protected health information, or anything else confidential in a form on this Site.

The Therapy Office Exchange is different from the browser-only calculators. If you submit to that private pilot, the Site stores the name and email address you provide, your city or local area, recurring weekdays and time windows, cost or budget, timing, and the office-fit details you choose to include. Do not submit client information, an exact street address, license or identity documents, lease files, or payment information. A separate private matching record uses internal record IDs, a normalized local-market key, schedule overlap, and budget fit; it does not copy either side's contact details. Active pilot records expire from matching after 90 days unless reconfirmed. A candidate match does not release contact information: each side receives a separate one-time decision link that expires after seven days, and the Site stores only a one-way hash of that link token. Both sides must consent before a private introduction. Only after both accept does the Site send each participant a separate email containing the other participant's submitted name and email address. You may ask to pause, correct, or remove your record through the contact page or by replying to a pilot email. De-identified aggregate counts may remain after an individual record is removed.

Cookies, and switching them off

This Site sets no cookies of its own. Where analytics are enabled, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity may use cookies. When a supported browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, this page does not load the three analytics providers. This does not delete cookies already stored; you can remove them in browser settings.

You can block or delete them in your browser settings, use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, or send a Global Privacy Control signal. Blocking them does not stop any calculator working.

California privacy rights

Most readers of this Site are in California, so this is set out plainly.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion of it, to correct it, and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing”.

This Site does not sell personal information and uses the analytics controls described above. You can block analytics with browser controls or a supported Global Privacy Control signal.

To exercise any of these rights, use the contact page. You will not be treated differently for asking.

Children

The Site is intended for practicing and pre-licensed mental-health professionals and is not directed at children. No personal information is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The version in force is the one on this page, and the effective date is shown at the top.

Contact

Questions about privacy, or a request to exercise a right described above, can be sent through the contact page.

Compensation and calculator privacy

Therapist Support does not collect compensation submissions or personal calculator inputs. The former compensation-census pilot is retired, its public form has been removed, and its API action rejects old submission attempts before verification, email, or storage of any compensation data.

Compensation calculators run in your browser. Values remain on your device unless you deliberately export a file. Aggregate analytics may record a value-free task event, such as opening or completing a tool, but not the figures entered.

Plain-language summary, which does not replace the text above. This site is free and is not advice. Check anything that matters with a professional who knows your situation before you act on it.

Your device, your control

Planning inputs stay in the page, URL or this browser’s storage. You control saved copies and downloads.

Private scenario pages do not load analytics. The policy explains local storage, share links, forms and the services used on other pages.
