What the evidence supports
What the training contains
The five-weekend sequence is part of a longer curriculum. The institute describes experiential relational work for licensed clinicians, registered interns, graduate students in licensure-track programs, and consultants.
Certification boundary
PGI states that it offers a certificate of competence rather than an accredited degree or official credential. Its published certification path requires multiple training levels plus personal therapy, supervision, licensure, and faculty approval.
For MFT students and associates
A graduate student must already be in a licensure-track program. The training cannot replace the qualifying degree, the school's approved field placement, BBS registration, or supervised employment.
What this does not establish
This page does not treat modality training as a qualifying MFT degree, school-approved field placement, BBS registration, supervised job, or promise of admission. Compensation, benefits, supervision payment, caseload, and openings remain “not stated” unless a source explicitly publishes them.
